30 Day Book Challenge: Susana's Day 28 - Favorite Book Title

Pride and Prejudice   Okay, "Pride and Prejudice" is probably one of the most accurate and concise titles ever created. (okay, every single one of Jane Austen's titles is precise and concise!)                                    It's also one of my all time favorite books, so of course I have to mention it!

As to more contemporary books, some of my favorites are:

For Darkness shows the stars by Diana Peterfreund
For Darkness Shows the Stars (For Darkness Shows the Stars, #1)
Beautiful title, in an inspired Jane Austen's "Persuasion" retelling.

Lost in the River of Grass        "Lost In The River of Grass" by Ginny Rorby
                                                 How beautiful is this title?
Better yet, is not only the title that it's great...

Then there's also pretty much all the titles in  Seanan McGuire series "October Daye,"  who are "taken" from Shakespeare's plays. Here are some of my favorite titles:

Rosemary and Rue (Book #1)                                                     Chimes At Midnight( Book #7)
Chimes at Midnight (October Daye, #7)Rosemary and Rue (October Daye, #1)One Salt Sea (October Daye, #5)
                       One Salt Sea (book #5)

We all know that, in most cases, a title doesn't reflect the book's essence.
There are some beautiful titles trying to masquerade ugly and empty interiors, and vice versa... but sometimes, both the titles and the books are so good, that they seem to be in "cosmic alignment"!
